What Cassiabon sells

Cassiabon designs, develops, hosts, and maintains websites. No setup fee and no minimum term, just one monthly fee that covers building the website, hosting it, and keeping it working. Three plans: the Cupcake (a website you keep current yourself), the Birthday Cake (a website I keep current for you, with a store, an editor, and unlimited changes by email), and the Wedding Cake, which is priced per project because no two of them are the same. Nonprofits take 15% off any plan, for the life of the plan.

If you’d rather pay for the build upfront and keep the monthly fee to hosting alone, feel free to ask. I offer that too, priced by conversation.

What’s included in the plan

Your domain. Every plan includes one standard domain — a .com, .org, .net, or similar — registered in your name and renewed for as long as your plan is active, up to $25 per year. If the name you want costs more than that, you can pay the difference or bring a domain you already own; either is fine. Premium, aftermarket, and brokered names are not included and I don’t deal in them. The domain is yours: if you leave, it goes with you, and I’ll help you move it.

Online stores. The Birthday Cake and the Wedding Cake include setting up and maintaining an online store on a third-party platform — Stripe, Snipcart, Ecwid, Shopify, or similar. Their fees, transaction charges, and subscription costs are yours and are billed by them, not by me. Building the store, wiring it into your site, styling it, and keeping it working are mine.

Graphic design. The Birthday Cake includes one graphic design job per month — business cards, a flyer, a poster, a menu, a résumé, or similar — as print-ready files. Unused months do not roll over. The Wedding Cake has no monthly limit; requests are handled in the order they arrive. The Cupcake does not include graphic design.

The editor and the AI agent. Every plan includes a content editor (Sveltia CMS) at your own address, limited to the fields configured for your site. On the Cupcake it is how the site is kept current. The Birthday Cake and the Wedding Cake also include a chat agent reachable on Telegram or Matrix. AI output is experimental and can be wrong. Every version of your site is kept, and I will restore any earlier one on request at no charge. On the plans that include changes by email, neither the editor nor the agent is compulsory — emailing me remains the primary way to have anything changed.

Video. Video files hosted alongside your site are limited to 25 MB each. Longer or larger video should live on a video host, and I’ll embed it for you.

Bandwidth. There is no bandwidth cap and no overage charge for normal traffic to your website, however busy a day gets. Deliberate abuse — using the hosting to distribute unrelated files, or to serve someone else’s site — is not normal traffic, and I’ll write to you before doing anything about it.

The free design preview

Requesting a free preview from me carries no obligation for either of us. If you don’t continue, you owe nothing and I keep the design.

Billing

The Cupcake is $79 per month and the Birthday Cake is $299 per month. There is no setup fee and no minimum term on either. The Wedding Cake is quoted per project.

Either plan can be paid monthly or annually. Paying annually is ten months for twelve — $790 a year for the Cupcake, $2,990 a year for the Birthday Cake — billed once, in advance. The plan, the work, and everything else are identical either way. Unused annual time is not refunded on cancellation — see Cancellation below.

Updates

The Birthday Cake and the Wedding Cake include changes by email. There is no cap on how many you send and no hourly allowance to run down. Most requests are handled within 24 hours; the Wedding Cake is same-week when something is urgent. Changes are routine content and design work on an existing site. Larger new work — a new section, a new page, a new feature — is quoted before it is started, and never begun without your say-so.

The Cupcake does not include changes made for you. You make your own in the editor, and I answer questions by email within three business days. If you would rather I made them, that is the Birthday Cake, and you can move up at any time.

Customer service

Refunds

There is no upfront build fee, so there is no deposit to refund. The free sample carries no obligation: if you decide not to continue after seeing it, you owe nothing.

Monthly fees keep your site hosted and maintained for the month you paid for. If I fail to deliver that (i.e. the site goes down and stays down, or agreed edits never arrive), I’ll refund the month.

Disputes

If something’s wrong, email me before filing a chargeback. I respond within two business days, and if I can’t make it right, I’ll refund you.

Cancellation

There is no minimum term. Cancel any time by emailing cas@cassiabon.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you’ve already paid for — the current month if you pay monthly, the current year if you pay annually. There are no partial-month or partial-year refunds.

Your domain and your content (the words, images, and files you gave me or I made from your materials) are always yours, and I’ll help move them wherever you’re headed. The site itself (the design and the code) is mine and stays with Cassiabon. I keep your site up for sixty days after your last billing date so the move is never rushed.

Discounts

Nonprofit discount. 15% off the monthly price of any plan, held for the life of the plan. Verification of nonprofit status may be requested. Not combinable with any other discount on the same plan.

Annual prepay. Paying for a year in advance is billed at ten months for twelve. It is not a limited offer and it does not expire.

There is no introductory rate, no countdown, and no list price marked down. The prices on this page are the prices. If they ever change for new customers, plans already running are not moved onto the new number without being told first, in writing, with at least sixty days’ notice.

Any other promotion has its full terms published alongside it. No promotion changes anything else on this page.
