Marcus Lawrence Personal Training
A site that works the way Marcus coaches — personal, committed, no fluff.
Marcus’s training is personal and long-term. His website wasn’t — it ran on WordPress, with hosting he had to think about. Now it runs on Astro: faster, sharper, with PageSpeed scores that make Google smile. And he doesn’t think about hosting at all anymore, because that’s my job.
Pricing that persuades
Instead of a wall of numbers, the site has a slider: weekly training on one side, twice-weekly on the other, and the per-session price visibly dropping the longer you commit. His whole coaching philosophy — commitment pays off — turned into an interface you can play with. Pricing that convinces instead of confuses.
Details that spark joy
Scroll down the page and “no pain, no gain” swivels into view. Everything animates as you scroll — small, handmade moments that make people smile and keep them reading. These little bakes are my favorite part of the job.
The full hand-off
Hosting, DNS, the domain — Marcus never touched a config screen. I even set up his Google Business profile so he shows up on the map, reviews and all. He pays monthly and has a website that works for him; I’m the one who worries about it.
He also gets analytics he can actually use — down to which FAQ questions people click most, which tells him exactly what new clients are wondering before they ever call.
Still baking
MLPT is an ongoing project — the site grows as the business does. But the moment I remember best is showing Marcus the design and watching his face. That’s the whole reason I do this.
